The Mormon Doctrine of Salvation

21 Jan

Learn four important reasons why Christians should reject the Mormon doctrine of salvation:

1. It cheapens the work of Christ on the cross.

2. It promotes universalism.

3. It is man centered and works based.

4. It makes godhood, not Christlikeness, the goal.

1 – I think happy thoughts that Christ rose from the dead and don’t dwell on his pain & suffering on cross.

2 – Christs message was man centered – he taught man how to be like God full of mercy and love.

3 – Godhood is love, mercy, faithfulness, hope and so the goal for man as Christ already had these qualities.
